How it works

Step 1

You will begin your appointment with a consultation with your provider to discuss your desired outcomes and address any concerns.

Step 2

After cleansing the treatment areas, your provider will use a motorized microneedling device to move across the skin in a series of gentle passes.

Step 3

After the procedure, your provider may apply exosomes or a chemical peel to increase your treatment results and achieve your skincare goals quickly.

Please wait to book this treatment if you have had cosmetic injections, sunburns or tans within the past two weeks
Avoid any products with AHA/BHA, Hydroquinone, retinols, aspirin, Tazorac, Differin, Vitamin E within one week of your treatment.
Avoid any alcohol and excessive exercise within 24 hours of your treatment.

Apply sunscreen (minimum of SPF 30) to maintain results
Avoid washing the treated area, applying makeup, and excessive physical activity for at least 24 hours after your procedure
For at least one week, avoid extended UV exposure and exfoliation (this includes picking or scratching the skin around the treated area)
For at least one month, avoid any cosmetic injections and any additional laser or chemical procedures on the treated area

The microneedling treatment, including prepping the skin and performing the treatment, takes about 45 – 60 minutes. Frequently we combine the microneedling treatment with other treatments like chemical peels, which could add additional time.

During your treatment you will see pinpoint bleeding. After your treatment you will be red and tender for up to 48 hours. You should plan to stay out of direct, extended sun exposure until your skin is completely healed.

We recommend the microneedling treatments about every 6-8 weeks. If we are working with you to resolve a specific concern, like acne scarring, we may recommend more frequent treatments.
