How it works

Step 1

You will begin your appointment with a consultation with your provider to discuss your treatment goals and address any concerns.

Your provider will draw a small amount of blood from a vein in your arm (similar to a standard blood draw). The collected blood is then placed in a centrifuge, a device that spins the blood at high speeds to separate the platelet-rich plasma, or fibrin, from the other elements in the blood.

Step 3

Your provider will apply a topical anesthetic to numb the treatment area and reduce discomfort. They will then inject the PRF into specific areas of the vaginal tissue, typically near the clitoris and upper vagina.

You cannot receive this treatment if you are pregnant or nursing
Please hold on booking this service if you received vaccinations, antibiotics, or corticosteroids within the past two weeks.
During the week of appointment, please discontinue any anti-inflammatory medications and avoid alcohol and smoking
Drink 64 oz on the day of your service

Take acetaminophen for discomfort as needed, but avoid any aspirin products
Avoid vigorous exercise and contact sports
Increase water intake, keeping yourself hydrated

No. You may notice a very small amount of pin-point bleeding the injection site and possibly some tenderness for 24 hours.
