Pre & Post Care Treatment
- Avoid any hair dye for 2 weeks prior to your treatment.
- Avoid any cosmetic injections 2 weeks before your treatment.
- For optimal results, patients should pre-treat with Hyaluronic Acid as a moisturizer for 2 weeks prior to treatment.
- Avoid UV exposure for 7 days pre and post-treatment, and avoid sunburns or tans for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment. No self-tanner for at least 7 days before your treatment.
- Remove all self-tanner products from the area being treated.
- Avoid all alpha hydroxy and beta hydroxy products (AHA/BHA), hydroquinone, retinol/retinoids, aspirin, Tazorac, Differin, Vitamin E, and any other active ingredient topical products for 5 days before your treatment.
- If you are prone to cold sores, take an antiviral medication (such as Valtrex) prior to your treatment.
- Clients should not perform any physical activity that increases body temperature or blood pressure 2 hours before or for 24 hours after laser treatment.
- Please arrive at your appointment 30 minutes prior to the appointment to apply numbing cream. Your esthetician will remove it during your treatment.
- Share an updated medical history with your provider to receive safe and effective treatment.
- Apply sunscreen (minimum of SPF 30) to maintain results
- Avoid washing the treated area, applying makeup, and excessive physical activity for at least 24 hours after your procedure
- For at least one week, avoid extended UV exposure and exfoliation (this includes picking or scratching the skin around the treated area)
- For at least one month, avoid any cosmetic injections and any additional laser or chemical procedures on the treated area
