How it works

Step 1

You will begin your appointment with your provider to review your medical history, discuss your vitamin B12 injection treatment goals, and address any concerns.

Step 1

Your provider will inject 1-2 mL of B-12 into the treatment area.

You may shower-if dressing comes off in the shower, simply place a fresh band-aid over the vitamin B12 injection site
Do NOT submerge in a bath, hot tub, or swimming pool until after 3 days once the dressing is removed
You may apply Neosporin twice a day if desired
Observe the injection site for signs of infection: redness, drainage, and fever
If any of the above symptoms develop, contact the office immediately
