How it works

Step 1

You will begin your appointment with a consultation with your provider to discuss your desired outcomes, address any concerns, and set a treatment plan.

After cleansing the treatment areas, your provider will apply a topical numbing cream or ice to minimize discomfort.

Step 3

Your provider will mark the treatment areas using a grid-like pattern and then will deliver Kybella into the target fat deposits using a fine needle. The number of injections will vary based on the amount of submental fat and the desired results.

You should not receive this treatment if you are pregnant, nursing, or if you have used Accutane within the last 6 months
Please wait to book this treatment if you have taken any vaccinations or antibiotics or had any dental procedures (including cleanings) within the past two weeks
Make sure to avoid alcohol 24 hours before your service

Avoid excessive sun exposure, exercise, or alcohol for 24 hours.
Apply ice packs as necessary.
Take acetaminophen for pain and avoid aspirin products.
Avoid any facial treatments involving chemicals or lasers for at least 3 weeks after injections of any kind.

Kybella treatments are typically spaced six to eight weeks apart, and full results are generally seen eight weeks after your last treatment.
