Botox®

Botox is the brand name for the most popular neurotoxin from Allergan. It is an FDA-approved cosmetic treatment for forehead lines, crow’s feet, and glabellar lines. It can also be used for non-cosmetic reasons like treating chronic migraines, spasticity, or excessive sweating.

Dysport®

Like Botox, Dysport is a nonsurgical neurotoxin (wrinkle relaxer) that is safe and has quick recovery times. It works by smoothing out wrinkles, which are caused by repeated movements and muscle contractions. Just one treatment may help improve the look of the frown lines between your eyebrows for up to 5 months.

Xeomin®

Xeomin® is a neurotoxin (wrinkle relaxer) made through a unique precision manufacturing process called XTRACT Technology™, that uses two filtration steps to isolate the therapeutic component of the molecule and removes the complexing/unnecessary proteins that don’t play an active role in treatment. Xeomin® is a double filtered neurotoxin.

DAXXIFY®

DAXXIFY® is a neurotoxin (wrinkle relaxer) that is FDA approved to smooth moderate to severe lines between the brows. It is the only frown line treatment powered by a peptide. The active ingredient in DAXXIFY® is a purified protein called botulinum toxin type A.

How it works

Step 1

You will begin your appointment with a consultation with your provider to discuss your treatment goals, address any concerns, and map out the number of units needed and areas where the wrinkle relaxers will be administered.

After cleansing the treatment areas, your provider will inject the determined amount of wrinkle relaxers using a fine needle. Depending on the areas being treated and the desired results, this step can take 10-30 minutes.

Once the injections are complete, you may receive post-care treatment to address any mild swelling or redness, which is temporary.

Make sure to avoid alcohol 24 hours before your service

Avoid lying down or tight headwear 4 hours after treatment to ensure the wrinkle relaxers do not migrate.
Avoid excessive sun exposure, heat, alcohol, and strenuous exercise at least 24 hours after treatment.
Avoid any facial treatments involving chemicals or lasers for at least 2 weeks after your treatment
Take acetaminophen for discomfort as needed

Results vary by client and depend on the amount of product used and your individual metabolism. Typical results last 3-6 months. The more regularly you receive Wrinkle Relaxers, the longer they typically last.
