Not to be confused with the other kind of BBL, this photo facial uses broadband light, which is a multiple light wavelength that can be filtered in several different ways to treat different skin concerns and improve skin texture and elasticity.

What skin types

While BBL treatments are safe for all skin types, they generally have lower efficacy for darker skin types. Please consult with your provider to determine what treatments are most suitable for you.

Reduce redness

Broadband light laser treatments target tiny blood vessels and improve the overall texture of the skin to eliminate the appearance of redness and rosacea symptoms.

Improve sun-damaged skin

Broadband light laser treatments use various wavelengths of light to heat the outer layer of skin to reduce the appearance of sunspots.

Achieve optimal results

For desired results, most clients need 3 or more treatments of BBL over the course of several months.

How it works

Step 1

You will begin your appointment with a consultation with your provider to discuss your desired outcomes and address any concerns

Step 2

Your provider will cleanse and prepare the treatment area(s) and place safety eyewear over your eyes to protect them during the procedure.

Step 3

Your provider will divide the treatment into sections, applying a cool gel to each area. The laser will then deliver quick light pulses to the targeted areas, which may feel warm.

Step 4

Once the procedure is complete, your provider will apply a soothing post treatment mask over the treated area, and will review and suggest any post-care products needed.

Please wait to book this treatment if you have had direct UV exposure, sunburns, or sun tans within the past two weeks.
Avoid products with AHA/BHA, Hydroquinone, retinol, aspirin, Tazorac, Differin, or Vitamin E within one week of your treatment.
Avoid any alcohol and excessive exercise within 24 hours of your treatment.

Apply sunscreen (minimum of SPF 30) to maintain results
Avoid any physical activity for at least 24 hours after your procedure
For at least one week, avoid direct UV exposure and exfoliation (this includes picking or scratching the skin around the treated area)
For at least one month, avoid any additional laser or chemical procedures on the treated area
