How it works
Step 1
You will begin your appointment with a consultation with your provider to discuss your treatment goals, address any concerns, assess your facial structure, and determine the most suitable dermal filler for your needs.
Step 2
After cleansing the treatment areas, your provider will apply numbing cream if needed and inject the determined dermal fillers with a fine needle or cannula (a thin tube used to deliver treatment). Depending on the areas being treated and the desired results, this step can take around 10-30 minutes.
Step 3
Your provider will gently massage the treated areas to ensure the dermal filler has been evenly distributed.
Step 4
After the procedure, you may experience swelling or light bruising near the treated areas. Your provider can apply ice packs to reduce any temporary discomfort.
Pre & Post Care Treatment
- Please wait to book this treatment if you have taken any vaccinations or antibiotics or had any dental procedures (including dental cleanings) within the past two weeks
- Make sure to avoid alcohol 24 hours before your service
- Avoid excessive sun exposure, alcohol, and strenuous exercise at least 24 hours after treatment.
- Avoid any facial treatments involving chemicals or lasers, as well as dental cleanings or procedures for at least 2 weeks after your treatment
- Take acetaminophen for discomfort as needed, but avoid ibuprofen or other blood thinners.
- Apply ice packs as needed
